Re-accreditation of Officials

09/02/2025 by John Owen

It is now a requirement from Swimming Australia, that Officials who are renewing their accreditations complete the Essential Skills course.

Before your first accreditation you probably did the General Principles course. This course has been superseded by the new Essential Skills course.

Undertake the Essential Skills course: (this is a one-off course but mandatory!)

  • Register or Login at the SwimAus Learning Centre
  • Click on “Find Learning” and do a search for Essential Skills. This will show you the Community Officiating Essential Skills Course. This course is mandatory.

Save your Certificate as you will need this to prove completion of the Course. When your re-accreditation is due, attach the certificate to your re-accreditation kit which is sent to the ATSC Coordinator.
